Another Gay on the Bay.

One of the best events of this years Pride Festival is sure to be the first ever Pride Sail Day aboard Wally Cowin’s Beautiful Yacht ‘Solo’. Departing at 7.30am on Sunday the 17th of June from the William Gunn Jetty in Manly, the group will sail to Morton Island to swim, snorkel, sand board or just visit the resort.

SOLO is one of Australia’s most famous racing and cruising yachts. The classical 17.5 metre cutter is the only four times winner of the Sydney to Hobart race and has circumnavigated the world 3 times. SOLO has now opened her decks for the first time to the Pride Festival so that you too can experience the history and excitement of yachting luxury.

The skipper Wally is not only an experienced sailor but also one of the leaders of the Brisbane gay community. He knows that we want beautiful surrounds and to be well looked after, so included in the package is city pick-up and a full buffet lunch served on board.
